On October 19, 2024, it's our 10-year anniversary for Coastal Va of our 7 cities, Va. Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Hampton and Newport News awareness walk in the heart of Norfolk to help eradicate human trafficking in our local communities and be a voice to the voiceless. The even is being held at MacArthur Center located at 300 Monticello Ave, Norfolk, VA 23510. Parking is located in MacArthur Center garage and then proceed to first floor of MacArthur Center to the outside park green area across from The Norva, where the ice rink usually is during holidays. Please arrive and be on the green area for check in and to begin event by no later than 11:30am. We will be joining forces this day with tens of thousands of global participants in over 50 countries for the fight for freedom. Virginia in ranked 15th in the nation for human trafficking and 6th for federal active cases for this heinous crime. Come make a difference and help eradicate human trafficking in our local area. If you are returning from one of our past walks please wear one of those T-shirts, and if not please wear a solid black one until one is provided for you at the walk.
