06 VOLUNTEER PROGRAM 

 

Q: Can you tell me about your volunteer program at A21?
A: We have volunteer opportunities in our offices around the world in the areas of support relations, advocacy, business development, marketing, administration, events, and technology. Click here to review current opportunities

 

Q: Can I volunteer remotely?
A: Unfortunately, we do not allow our volunteers to work remotely. We believe it’s best for the organization, and for the volunteers that they are present in the California office during their time with a21. 

 

Q: Can I get University internship credit for volunteering?
A: At this time, we offer an unpaid volunteership that can be considered for school accreditation. However, outside of that we do not offer any sort of internship. As all universities have different requirements for internship credits, please send us your universities internship program requirements to see if it aligns with our volunteer program. you can send these to volunteer@a21.org

 

Q: I cannot volunteer for the entire term and/or I will be coming late/leaving early– will I still be accepted into the program?
A: Due to the importance of the work involved and the large number of applications we receive, we are unable to consider individuals who are not able to commit to complete the full term and the required hours. during their intake period, volunteers must be able to volunteer a minimum of 16 hours a week between monday through friday 9am-5pm.

09 WALK FOR FREEDOM  

 

Q: What is Walk for Freedom?
A: Walk For Freedom is A21’s global mobilization event, rallying tens of thousands of people, and taking millions of steps, in hundreds of cities all over the world. Participants walk in a single file line–holding posters and handing out flyers–to reach their city with information about human trafficking and how to end it.

Q: When is Walk For Freedom?
A: Walk For Freedom will take place globally on Saturday, October 19, 2024! For more information, visit A21.org/walk. Here, you can find out if there is a local walk in your area and the exact event details.

 

Q: How do I find a walk?
A: To find your local Walk For Freedom, visit A21.org/walk. Simply type your address into the search bar above the map, and it will show you the walks closest to you. You can click “More Info” to see additional details about that particular event or “Click here to register” for the selected event.

 

Q: What do I wear?
A: We encourage all participants to purchase a Walk For Freedom event t-shirt or hoodie during registration or in our A21 Shop. If you don’t wish to purchase a t-shirt or hoodie, we encourage you to wear all black.

 

Q: Are there any fees to participate?
A: Walk For Freedom is a free event.

 

Q: How do I register for a walk near me?
A: Walk For Freedom participant registration opens on August 1 and will be available at A21.org/walk.

Q: How do I fundraise for Walk For Freedom?

All funds raised will support A21’s programs to prevent human trafficking before it happens, empower people around the world to make a difference, set victims free, hold traffickers accountable, and provide holistic aftercare for survivors. Q: Do I have to pre-register for the event?
A: While we encourage everyone to pre-register online for the event, there will be registration available on the day of the event. So, invite your friends and family to join you!

 

Q: Can I volunteer for Walk For Freedom?
A: Yes! If you’re interested in helping out with your local walk, reach out to the walk host in your area. Walk host contact information is available on their local event page.

A: All products A21 develops and stocks are ethically sourced. We place a high value on fair wages and working conditions for all our products.

 

Q: When will you restock my size?
A: Please fill out our waitlist form found here to be updated on the most recent restocks of items. A21 strives to offer all sizes however there is no guarantee on when this specific item will be available.

 

Q: Why do you need my personal information when purchasing something from your shop?
A: Certain information is needed for us to provide the best customer care possible for you. We ask for your email and phone number in case we need to get ahold of you for any reason regarding your order.

 

Q: When will I receive my items?
A: The arrival of your items depends on your shipping preferences during checkout. When purchasing an item from our shop, you will be given different shipping options for when you would like to receive your item. If you do not receive your items within the projected time frame, please email info@a21.org with your order number.

Should there be any delays in processing your order, a team member will reach out to the email address provided at checkout.

 

Q: Does A21 cover international shipping and customs fees?
A: While A21 strives to offer you the best possible shipping and carrier discounts, we do not assist directly with additional international shipping or customs charges.

A: The various shipping options are connected directly to our warehouse. The different prices come directly from various carriers offering a range of services and pricing for your selection.

 

Q: Can I return something?
A: A21 does not offer exchanges, but if you have received a damaged item or the wrong size clothing item, we will gladly accommodate a return. Please email a description and photo if applicable to info@a21.org within 7 days of receiving the order.
