No problem! We ask that all participants just wear black in solidarity! We recommend wearing any type of comfortable walking shoes! 3) We will be walking a slow 2.5 laps around the Reflecting Pool- so no need to worry about a long distance for a fast paced walk! 4) Have any questions? You can always email us at info.dc@a21.org OR follow our social media @WalkforfreedomDC where we give lots of live updates! 5) This event is rain or shine! We can't wait to walk with you! Join the DC, MD, and VA communities as we walk for freedom in our nation's capital! Last year, the Walk For Freedom DC had a tremendous impact, raising over $50,000.00. This year we want to double that. What does that mean? That means twice the funds going to Trafficking Tip lines, twice the funds going to Freedom Centers, twice the funds going to recovery homes, twice the funds going to legal bills to put these traffickers away for life. We want to double the amount of funds locally so we can double our impact globally. By working together we can see more freedom in our communities, in our nation and in our world. Together we can get one step closer to abolishing modern day slavery in the twenty-first century! Join us at the #WalkforFreedomDC
