REACH: Operational Strategy

We prevent slavery from ever happening by engaging people through events, student presentations, and education programs.

Our Walk For Freedom lights up the darkness of slavery, and rallies our global community of abolitionists together. Can you hear it? The sound of thousands of footsteps. The sound of awareness turning into action.

We also aim to raise public awareness through campaigns including Can You See Me? Our goal is to turn awareness into action by equipping people to report tips to national hotlines when they suspect trafficking.

Somewhere around the world, we are always hosting and attending awareness events.
By highlighting slavery, we reduce vulnerability and spark the masses.

It’s vital that the younger generation is informed and equipped to combat human trafficking.
We have a student curriculum available in Australia, the United States, and Latin America.

RESCUE: Operational Strategy

We work closely with law enforcement on the ground to support police operations, identify victims through our hotlines, assist in the prosecution of traffickers, represent survivors in court proceedings, and collaborate with governments and other NGOs to eradicate slavery at every level.

We train law enforcement, first responders, hospital staff, governments, and transportation authorities to identify slavery. Using our firsthand experience in assisting survivors, we help professionals identify victims in their workplace and give them the tools they need to make referrals.

We seek justice by representing survivors in court and assisting with the prosecution of traffickers. This has the power to cut the legs out from under the industry, and pave the way for a generational impact–it’s not just for the exploited ones, but for the ones at-risk, susceptible, and vulnerable.

One call can save many lives. Our hotlines exist to facilitate hope and empower people to report human trafficking if they suspect it. We currently have hotlines set up in Greece, Bulgaria, and South Africa.

Restore: Operational Strategy

We work face-to-face with every person in our care based on their individual needs, providing them with access to housing, medical treatment, counseling, education, employment, and repatriation to help them reach a place of independence.

A21 Homes take survivors from crisis to stability. What does aftercare look like?
Renewed dreams. Lasting employment. Invaluable education. Conquered fears.

We provide access to medical care for the survivors who need it. From cracked teeth and cuts, to sexually transmitted diseases and broken bones. Human trafficking leaves its mark, but restoration and healing is possible.

Victims of human trafficking are commonly transported from a source country to a destination country. Our SAFE program repatriates survivor’s back to their home. It’s a worldwide initiative–from the United States to Ukraine, South Africa to Thailand.

We also provide opportunities for survivors in education, employment training, and hands-on work with our social enterprise, Liberty.
