We are honored to be fighting human trafficking with Dressember again this year, and we can’t wait to see the impact of our work together.
What started out for Blythe Hill as a small goal, turned into something much bigger than she ever expected. After challenging herself to wear only dresses for the entire month of December, a handful of her friends noticed, and wanted to join her. The following year, there were many more women wanting to participate.
Eventually, her creative idea in 2009 turned into a global movement. Realizing this momentum could be used for something greater, Blythe decided to use Dressember to raise awareness and funds to fight human trafficking.
Their challenge to women everywhere is to wear a dress every single day in December to advocate for the dignity of women who have been exploited.
We are so thankful for our friends at Dressember, and want to thank all of our supporters across the globe for joining us in the fight against slavery. You are making our work possible, and guess what? Your story has the power to change the story of victims across the globe.
