Additional Information
What is Walk For Freedom? It's a day of global awareness and local action in the fight against human trafficking, organized by A21. On Saturday, October 14, 2023, thousands of people will hit the streets in hundreds of cities across the globe to walk in a single file line–holding posters and handing out flyers–to reach their city with information about human trafficking and how to end it. Every step reduces vulnerability locally by empowering your neighbors, friends, and community to identify and report trafficking suspicions. This event is organized and run by A21. All you need to do is show up and walk. Where is Walk for Freedom? Walk for Freedom is located in cities all around the world. We are hosting one in here in Tampa @ 302 Knights Run Ave, Tampa, FL 33602. To register for your local walk, please register with A21 here: When is Walk For Freedom? Walk For Freedom will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2023 @ 10am. Are there any fees to participate? Walk For Freedom is a free event! What do I wear? If you don’t wish to purchase a t-shirt, A21 encourages participants to wear all black. A21 encourages all participants to purchase a Walk For Freedom event t-shirt during registration or in the A21 Shop. You can (optionally) purchase here. Things to keep in mind: It is Florida, so it will rain at some point. Please come prepared. We will provide water, but please come hydrated and bring your water bottle. There is covered parking provided. Please register onsite to receive the parking validation. The walk is mostly silent in solidarity with those that do not have a voice. Wear all black if possible. You can create and bring your own posters. Facebook Event Page: (Please share) https://fb.me/e/3VsybP2Tn
